ePly Services Inc. is looking for an Inside Sales Person

Who are we?

ePly Services Inc. is a growing North Vancouver-based company that provides online event registration services to event planners. We focus on making the lives of event planners easier. We look after all aspects of online event registration from planning, designing and programming registration forms to managing payments and refunds to event reporting, and much more. What does an Inside Sales person do at ePly?

The sales staff at ePly is key to growing the business and is responsible for selling ePly's services to new and existing clients using the phone and email. Using the sales systems and templates that we have created, the position will require you to:
  1. Follow up and qualify incoming leads from ePly's website.
  2. Prospect for new leads by phone and email.
  3. Consult with prospects to determine if ePly is a good fit for their requirements.
  4. Prepare custom quotes based on a prospect's requirements.
  5. Give presentations and demos over the phone.
  6. Close the sale.

What skills do you need?

Our business is built on delivering a professional service and having a genuine interest in the success of our client’s events, not in just making a sale. To be successful in this position you will need:
  1. To be willing to learn ePly's online registration software and study ePly's sales manual. It is critical to confidentially answer questions from prospects, handle objections and point out key features applicable in different circumstances as any hesitation can cost you a sale.
  2. The ability to use a consultative sales approach and pay attention to the small details.
  3. The ability to multi-task to handle a high number of prospects and prioritize and focus on the best opportunities.
  4. The ability to work under pressure and consistently meet targets.
  5. Strong communication, interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
  6. To be trustworthy and willing to undergo background/security check.
  7. To have keyboarding skills at a minimum of 50 words per minute.
  8. To have a good understanding of internet terminology, be proficient navigating the internet and using online software and MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  9. Experience with SalesForce or a comparable CRM program.
  10. The ability to be able to confidently respond to basic questions about databases, online credit card processing, online applications, internet security, etc.
An understanding and knowledge of the event planning industry is a definite bonus.
