Our first stop takes us to Granby to view Mont Sacré-Coeur, a 1930 Seminary by Ludger Venne with a marvelous Art Déco chapel, and Paroisse St. Benoit, an example of Bellotism, after the work of Dom Paul Bellot.

We will then go to Magog for lunch, at your own expense (or bring your own).

In the afternoon we will visit two Art Deco churches and the Abbey Saint Benoit du Lac, designed 1939-1941 by French Benedictine architect, Dom Paul Bellot (1876-1944). It is also where Bellot is buried. The monastery possesses all the hallmarks of Bellot's style - subtle geometric relationships, intricate stone and brick-work, and multi-coloured tiles.

We will return via Ste. Agnès Vineyard located in the Sutton Mountains of southern Quebec for a tour and dinner. The Ste. Agnès vineyard was established in 1997 by Henrietta Antony who will welcome us to her magnificent winery.
The trip will take place rain or shine.
Walking shoes are recommended.
