In this webinar we explore various styles and different approaches to leading. We evaluate the effectiveness of various leadership styles. 

We discuss the importance of corporate vision, mission and core values. We explore how engagement through strategic leadership plays a critical role in advancing the interests of your organization. 

We address “Talking the Talk” and provide tools and tips on how to have focussed  conversations.

 

WEEK 2 - LEADING THROUGH INFLUENCE NOT AUTHORITY

The Art of Getting “Buy-In” - Thursday, Oct. 12/17

 

In this webinar we explore the differences between leading with authority vs. leading with influence. 

Participants Learn:

How and when to exercise the power of influence and how and when to use the power of authority through communication and relationship building. You’ll gain insight into the impact of stress and challenging situations in order to manage your emotions and to get the behaviour you need to manage under various circumstances.

WEEK 3 - COMMUNICATION IS KEY

Effective Issues Management - Thursday, Oct. 26/17

 

In this webinar we talk about effective communication strategies and how to stay ahead of the issues (when possible). We provide you with tools and techniques to know how to respond effectively, as well as how and when to contain specific issues. As leaders and decision-makers we need to anticipate and respond to increasing public demands and expectations, while being  transparent in making decisions.

WEEK 4 - MANAGING PERSONALITY DYNAMICS 

Why do People Behave the Way they do? - Thursday, Nov. 9/17

 

In this webinar you will understand and recognize different personalities; why people behave the way they do and how to effectively work with all personality types. We also talk about developing specific skills to heighten your emotional intelligence as a productive way to manage specific personalities and behaviours.

 

WEEK 5 - LEADING A MULTI-GENERATIONAL WORKFORCE

Leveraging Every Generation - Thursday, Nov. 23/17

 

In this webinar we discuss the key attributes of a multi-generational workforce from the “Traditionalists (born in 1922) to the Millennials” (known as Gen Y). We discuss unique work styles of multi-generations and how to engage, harness and leverage the collective potential of diversity in the workplace.
