Myeloma Canada is presenting the eighth annual National Conference for patients, their families and healthcare professionals on September 29th in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

This year’s panel of experts includes Dr Robert Kyle (Mayo Clinic; Rochester, MN), Dr Ade Olujohungbe (CancerCare Manitoba; Winnipeg, MB), Dr Joseph Mikhael (Mayo Clinic; Scottsdale, AZ), Ms Cindy Manchulenko, RN (Leukemia/BMT Program of BC; Vancouver, BC), Dr Ludger R Klewes (Manitoba Institute of Cell Biology, Winnipeg, MB), Mr Tom Roche (CancerCare Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB) and Dr Anne Sherwood (The Binding Site, San Diego, CA).

General sessions will address the basics of myeloma, the management of relapsed and refractory myeloma and an overview of myeloma research in Canada and the promising developments that are on the horizon.

Based on feedback received from previous conferences, this year we have greatly increased the number of breakout sessions. These sessions will focus on specific topics that are of particular interest to smaller groups of patients and caregivers. In total there will be ten breakout sessions to choose from. When registering, please select one morning session and one afternoon session.
