A twist on the usual career fair, participating companies will give fast 1-minute introductions of their business and projects, followed by a networking event complete with catered food and refreshments.
Students and alumni get the chance to connect with Okanagan-based companies that are growing and looking to work with new talent like you. Working in a rapidly growing community such as the Okanagan, you have the chance to make a real and noticeable impact, build lasting connections, and contribute to small and tight-knit teams. The Reverse Career Fair is a great opportunity to grow your network, gain insight into the landscape of diverse and changing sectors within BC, and connect with other students and alumni from across UBC’s Okanagan campus. Food and beverages will be served.

Participating companies will take to the stage for a 1-minute opportunity to introduce their company to 100+ attending students & alumni. Use this time to showcase exciting projects, share your company’s unique culture or product, give a demonstration, sing a song – whatever you like!
After this everyone is invited to network, build connections and enjoy catered food and refreshments. The aim of the event is to help Okanagan-based organizations build employer brand awareness with the next generation of university talent and to possibly hire should the right candidate come along.
