Are Your Registration Forms and Event Websites Mobile Friendly?

Just this week, Google updated their algorithm to give a boost to mobile friendly webpages in search results when a search is done with a mobile device.

With more and more people using mobile devices, its important that your event websites and registration forms work properly on those devices for a good user experience and now so that they can be found in a search.

Google has provided a tool that you can use to check the mobile friendliness of any webpage.  You can also use this tool to see if you are using mobile friendly registration forms.

Also, if you would like to see what your webpages and forms look like on various screen sizes, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the webpage or form you want to test using Chrome.
  2. Press F12 – this will start the developer tools features
  3. Click the phone icon from the toolbar.
  4. Now, you can choose a device from the menu at the top of the screen to see how the page will look on that device.  You can also manually drag the edge of the preview screen to get any size you want.
